A requirement for a Mechanical HVAC specialist has arisen with a major pharma company in the Northeast.


The role encompasses responsibility for all field Construction associated with the project and supervision of all field construction work by mechanical subcontractors.

Keep in constant contact with Subcontractors to ensure timely work to keep project on time / within budget. Ensures equipment purchased is in onsite at the project when needed. Shares responsibility with the construction project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. Manages and mentor’s assistant project managers and other field personnel. Maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations through the life of the project.


  • Management and guidance of project Health Safety and Performance.
  • Ensure all required permits, licenses and inspections are in place.
  • Management of Change.
  • Subcontractor Management for the coordinated install for mechanical systems / plant include General Air Handling Systems , VAV/VRV HVAC, Chillers, Boilers, Exhaust systems, Heat Exchangers
  • Appropriate sequencing, fabrication documentation, material supply, site conditions.
  • Schedule Control, Progress measurement & reporting.
  • Complete installation to Quality Requirements.
  • Compliance with user requirements and documented acceptance criteria.
  • Manages Gathering Turnover, Test and inspection Documentation.

Requirements: Involved in all aspects of Commissioning

  • 10+ years of Construction Experience working with contractors.
  • Construction experience to include site infrastructure, support buildings and utility / process distribution and manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience with retrofit / turn-around type projects.
  • Experience of HVAC systems, Test & Balance, controls, & automation.
  • Have to understand the QA/QC process of keeping systems clean during installation.
  • Prior experience with Managing Contractors.

Based in Dundalk
